ANNE Woodger, Angela Storey and Shirley Stunell from Downes Crediton Golf Club travelled to Long Sutton Golf Club in Somerset for their Open on Wednesday, June 12.
The weather was fair with a few light showers but a rather strong wind. Long Sutton was looking very good, but the greens were lightening fast, with all ladies playing finding it very difficult to hole the putts.
The Open was a three ball, two scores to count stableford format.
Downes Crediton Ladies won the best visiting team prize with 71 points, coming sixth overall. Well done Ladies.
