RICK Eidam took victory in this year’s Seniors Mick Thompson Trophy and Division Two at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Monday, October 4, with a fantastic score of 39 points.

Following in second was Arthur Moughton with a score of 36 points. In Division One Laurie Taylor scored 38 points to take top spot while Andy Frankum placed second, who also scored 38 points but lost to a better back nine.

On Wednesday, October 6, Oliver Rowe stole the show with an incredible score of 45 points to take the mid-week stableford.

Thursday, October 7 saw the ladies play their yearly Breast Cancer charity stableford and it was Shirley Stunell who scored 37 points to take the Division One prize.

Stacey Ford scored 35 points for second place and in Division Two it was Sue Bonner who scored 37 points to take top spot and it was Sue Jackson who finished 35 points to finish second.

The nine-hole stableford winner was Simon March who scored 21 points.

The final medal of the year, played on Saturday, October 9, was for the Champions Trophy.

This saw all of the Saturday competitions and Club matchplay competition winners play for the Champions Trophy and the Medal Winner Trophy.

It was Jim Dunlop who scored a nett 68 to take home the Champions Trophy. Ricky Buttle scored a nett 64 to take home the Medal Winners trophy.

After the champions trophy it was time for the presentation night where all of the winners collected their trophies and there was plenty to celebrate.
