ON Saturday June 12, in perfect conditions the second round of the Club Championships, were played, at Okehampton Golf Club, resulting in a tightly fought finish with four players only one shot behind the leader.

Kevin Cornwall managed to hang on to his lead to win the prestigious title of Club Champion 2021 with a gross score of 147 over 36 holes.

Kevin also won the John Leonard Tankard for the best gross score for the over 50’s.

Gary Carey was the winner of the Hutching Cup achieving the best two nett scores over 36 holes with a total of 129 (63 +66).
