A FOUR ball better ball stableford competition with both scores to count on the par threes was held at Okehampton Golf Club, in amazing conditions, on Saturday, February 16.

Division One was won by Malcolm Hooper and Richard Prouse with 53 points after count back from in second Richard McFarlane and Graham Holt.

In third place were Adam Cook and Nick Atkinson with 50 points.

The winners of Division Two were Rob Green and Sam Evans with 54 points, Alan Grimshaw and Bernard Olesqui were second with 52 points and Shane Monnox and Ricky Wooldrige were awarded third place with 51 points attaining a better back nine.

The ladies last week decided to play a “Delaney with a Difference” and the winning team were Vida Appleton, Babs Beaney, Val Dodsworth and Sue Stanbury with nett 64.4 and in second place with nett 66.4 were Judith Ezard, Maureen Willcocks and Sylvie Gowers.
