CREDITON Youth FC U15s had another high-scoring game, but unfortunately they lost out 4-3 to Honiton Town, George Moularis getting all three of the home side’s goals.

The U14s made the long journey to Lyme Regis, but it was more than worth it. They returned with three valuable points after what their coaches described as a phenomenal performance. Goals from Archie Crosbie, Jacob “Jig” Greenwood and Keaton Spokes helped them to a 3-0 victory, with a hat-trick of assists from Freddie Peake.

It was a long journey too for the U13s as they travelled to Millwey Rise. They had to settle for a point after their 2-2 draw. Jacob Sweeney and Will Manns were on target for them.

The U12s were away at Brixington Blues. They were eventually edged out 3-2, Finn Cereda and Freddie Hubber grabbing their goals.

There were lots of goals for the U11s as they saw off Brixington Blues at Lords Meadow. Tom Finney led the scoring with a hat-trick, with Ben Whelan, Lennie Wilmott, and Lennon Young also amongst the goals.

It was two wins and two defeats for the U10s as they entertained sides from Copplestone and Hatherleigh.

Sunday saw the U15 girls lose out 6-3 away at Newton Fire, Evelyn Richardson Miller with a brace and Olivia Mills getting their goals.

The U13 Youth girls lost out 5-1 at home to Twyford Spartans and the Blues narrowly went down 3-2 away at Torquay United Community Sports Yellows.

It was another win for the U11 girls as they ran out winners against Central Youth Phoenix. Ariana Malik, Esme Armitage, Halle Yelland and Ida Brealy all got on the scoresheet.

Also at home were the U9 girls, who took on sides from Sidmouth Town. They had to settle for one defeat and a draw. Amelia Holland and Gracie Gillon got their goals.

The final game of the weekend saw the U18s in league cup action as they hosted Newtown. Fletcher Clark with two and one from Ben Betts saw them through 3-2 to the next round.
