Twenty minutes in and Cameron Pow flicked a lovely pass across the box for Matt Baker to touch down and hit across the box to make it 3-0 to Spreyton.
Spreyton conceded just before half-time with a lovely solo effort from Willand’s centre-mid.
Spreyton came out strong in the second half and Baker notched with a great effort straight away from a great ball from Luke Herbert.
With our heads held high Chris Down scored from a lovely ball from Baker with some great link up play.
Everything was going well and with a great effort from Greg Jolly, from a long-range free kick, saved from the ‘keeper.
Cam completed his hat-trick with his two great finishes one after the other. The first finish was a cross from Mike Hows that was scrambled out for the edge of the box for Cameron to smash home and the second was a lovely finish past the ‘keeper 10 minutes later.
Then to wrap the game up “Man of the Match” Chris Down scored again from a lovely header to make the final score 9-2.
A great all-round performance from all 12 players that played.
Next up is an away match against Exeter United on Saturday, November 25.
Sitting joint top after 10 games is a tremendous achievement in itself for Spreyton. We just have to keep the battle going with the great squad of players we have!
