PLANS are well underway for this year’s Crediton Youth FC annual six-a-side tournament to be held over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14 at Lords Meadow.

Last year saw the club host their biggest ever tournament attracting over 185 teams from across the South West over the weekend.

In memory of two strong supporters of the tournament, James Uren and Ian Leach, it was decided to use the event to raise awareness and monies for three charities, the Devon Air Ambulance, MIND and Pete’s Dragons.

Combined with the clubs Charity Match Day a grand total of more than £3,600 was raised for the three charities.

For this year’s tournament the club has chosen to support FORCE, MIND, and The Hollow Lane Club.
