I WENT to Scotland for six days and what happens when I’m away - Lapford football club’s first team go and lose at home to Exeter University by two goals to nil.

I was hoping to go to Scotland next March, so I suppose I will have to think again, ha, ha!

Anyway, the Reserves drew away to Amory Green Rovers by 1-1, so saved a black Saturday, drawing with the leaders of Division Seven. Well done lads.

Onwards and upwards to tomorrow, Saturday, November 25. Both teams are away, with kick-offs at 2.15pm.

The first team are away to Cullompton Reserves who are in fifth position to Lapford in second position. So lads, get back on track, I will be there, good luck.

The Reserves are away at Bradninch, who are fourth in the league with Lapford in sixth. Good luck lads.
