AS the start of the season gets closer for Lapford AFC, the Seconds are pleased to announce that Kazlam Support Ltd will sponsor the team kit for the 2019-2020 season of the Devon and Exeter Football League Division Five.

Kazlam Support Ltd won the use of the company’s logo on to the shirts for the season after taking part in a competition organised by the Second team manager Gavin Burrows, who sold squares on a football scratch card.

It was well-supported, selling all 20 squares to local companies and locals who were keen to support the club, some purchasing more than one square.

The card was scratched off revealing Chelsea FC, which was purchased by Neville and Rachel Phillips of Kazlam Support Ltd.

The club said it would like to thank the following for purchasing and supporting the team this season: Kazlam Support Ltd, The Ark, Country Kitchens of Devon, SMP Scaffolding, Andrew Poole of Kelland Dairy, Mike Squire of Lapford Cross Garage, The Old Malt Scoop, Broomsmead Surfacing Ltd, Courtney’s Garage, Mike Leach Garden Services, Jon Tucker general builder, Angus, Chris Burrow, Craig Way, John Burrows and Gavin Burrows.

All those that supported the club will be a match sponsor for a game this season.

The Seconds kicked off their season on August 24, away to Royal Oak first team, of Exeter, losing 4-0.

Again the club would like to thank all those who supported it for the upcoming season.
