THE response from Dave José Hughes’ appeal for food donations on the back of the Marcus Rashford campaign was brilliant, with Grannies, Grandad’s, Aunties and friends, and our sponsors, Helmores all contributing to our collection.

The result was two car loads/30 bags of food being collected and passed over to Crediton Foodbank before school on Wednesday, November 4.

Coaches Dave José Hughes and DIY Dave Hartshorne, along with their sons Matt and Joe got up early and represented the squad.

We understand that some of the other Youth Football age groups had collections of their own – well done guys.
