CREDITON Youth FC U15s finally started their league campaign on Saturday, October 15 and they got off to a flyer.
The final score at Lords Meadow ended 12-4 to the home side.
Ben Betts lead the goal scoring with five, Will Cridge with three and Alfie Poole two, with Gabriel Smith and Joseph Bridgeman completing the scoring.
It was another win for the U14s as they put five past Exmouth Town at home without reply. Rhys Ebdy with a hat-trick and a brace from Ollie Baker on target for them.
The U12s hosted Moors Youth in the County Cup.
They went through to the next round 4-1 with goals from George Strawson, Hayden Richardson Miller, Jac Caruana and Luis Matthews.
It was cup weekend for the U10s and both sides progressed to the next round.
Crediton United beat Ottery St Mary with Ollie Dallyn, Radu Mototolea and Will Manns getting goals.
Rangers were away at Honiton and goals from Finn Moore and Luke Beetlesone saw them return victorious.
The U9s hosted Heavitree Youth and it was two wins and two defeats for them.
The U13s came away from Central Grecians with a 6-1 win. Their goals coming from a Seb Roche hat-trick, Jake Shepherd, James Murphy and a superb Fletcher Clark effort.
It was a close game for the U11s away at Twyford Spartans. Despite goals from Jayden Saunders and Riad Hadbel-Hay they lost out by the odd goal.
Sunday, October 16 saw another home victory for the U12 girls.
They put six past Paignton Villa Clarets without reply.
Lexi Mullen led the scoring with five and a cracking half-volley from Lucy Budd completed the scoring. But a special mention must go to the defence for their great performance as well.
The U14 girls went down 5-0 away to league leaders Newton Fire.
It was a trip to Braunton for the U10 girls who had a great morning of football up in North Devon.
It was a tough cup draw for the U18’s against Ottery St Mary.
Another much improved performance saw them eventually go down 5-1.
They matched the East Devon sides for long periods of the game, but two late goals finally sealed their fate. Casey Grossett getting the Creddy goal.
