Barnstaple Reserves 0 - Lapford AFC 7

THE weather on Saturday, December 5 was not very good but the football resulting in the fourth round in the Sportliving Devon Premier Cup was the best of all the other ties, with a 7-0 win and to send Barnstaple Reserves down the A377 with their “tails between their legs”.

Who will we be drawn against in the quarter finals? Maybe it will be Beer Albion, Exwick Villa, Park Utd, Alphington, Bere Alston, Appledore or the winners from Boca Seniors v North Molton Sports.

Now onto a league match at home to Okehampton Reserves tomorrow (Saturday, December 11) with a 2.15pm kick-off.

See you all there and onwards and upwards and good luck to all.

Of course Plan A is still on the cards, with three cup ties played - Goals F17 - A3, and 12 league matches played and one pending on appeal.

Our league record is as follows: P12 - W10 - D2 - L0 - PTS 32 - Goals F55 A14 - GD +41.

Our home record stands at 32 unbeaten.

The last match for 2021 will be away at Sidmouth Town Reserves on Saturday, December 18 with a 2.15pm kick-off.
