THERE was very little action again last weekend for Crediton Youth FC sides.

Sunday saw the U13 Girls Blues host Cullompton. Although they lost out 4-2, their coaches were really impressed by the girls’ performance.

They lost out heavily to their opponents early in the season, and had four regular players missing, including their goalkeeper this time around. Flo Sandover and Molly Carr got the home side’s goals.

The U9 girls travelled to Watcombe Wanderers Lionesses for their league cup fixture. They lost out in the cup tie, but played out a goalless draw in the friendly fixture that followed. Summer Sheppard took the award for player of the day.

The U18s returned to action at Lords Meadow against Boca Seniors but lost out 2-0.
