THERE was festive fun at Crediton Rugby Club on Boxing Day when over 18 years-old male players, past and present, took part in a Boxing Day game.

It was an early start with kick-off at 11.30am but a tipple for some of the players soon got the play flowing.

The game got off to a good start with tries soon on the scoreboard.

Scott Baker kindly acted as referee and there was plenty of humour throughout the match.

The watching crowd increased as the game went on and it was fun to watch.

The result was not important but it was the amber side which beat those in black, 44-15.

Everyone enjoyed getting some air and meeting friends, old and new.
