THIS year Crediton United Football Club is celebrating 40 years since it relocated from its old Newcombes Meadow ground to its present headquarters at Lords Meadow.

On Saturday, September 3, from 1pm onwards the Club will be holding a Grand Club Reunion for former and present players and anyone who has ever been associated with the Club is welcome to attend.

A barbecue will run from 1pm until 5pm, whilst on the field the Club’s First Team will be playing local rivals, Exwick Villa. All former players are invited and the Club is endeavouring to contact as many as possible.

If you are a former player by any chance and don’t get an invitation, please just get in touch to say you will be attending. Partners will also be welcome.

The Club would like to know how many are attending for catering purposes.

Ian Grinney, Chris Gillard and Dave Blanchford are the remaining members who have been involved in the full 40 year journey.

They are helping to organise the celebration on September 3.

There will be a bumper draw, the draw for which will take place at 6pm.
