A FUN evening was had by all who attended a comedy evening at Lapford Victory Hall which raised £650 for Lapford Football Club funds.

Comedian Tank Sherman had everyone in fits of laughter from start to finish sharing some very funny jokes, some may have been old, but it was the way he told them - with never a swear word.

The event was organised by Gavin Burrows and his wife with help from John Burrows. Everyone was given mulled wine on arrival and in the interval there were delicious pasties and mince pies.
