CREDITON Youth U11 Girls football team ended a successful summer of six-a-side tournaments with another tournament win.

A 1-0 victory over Twyford Spartans was enough to see them clinch the Starcross Dons tournament.

The winning goal came from goalkeeper Lexi Kelland with a great chip.

Overall it has been a great summer for the U11 girls who entered six tournaments this summer.

They ended up winning three and were runner-up in another.

Their coaches are really looking forward to the new season as they go into competitive football.
