THE ladies at Downes Crediton Golf Club played their Canadian Greensomes competition on Thursday, October 31.

Winning with a score of 36 points were Angela Battershall and Viv Jordan. In second place with 35 points were June Mitchell and Elizabeth Mapson.

The Ray Shire Trophy was played on Saturday, November 2. Ray was a member of the club who passed away whilst playing a round of golf at DCGC.

Winning with a fantastic score of 59 were Simon Cartlidge, Pete Denford and Barry Tucker.

There were then four scores of 63, the best of them came from the team of Ben Marchant, Darren Clifford and Maurice Curtis.

Professional Devon Greenslade's "mega lesson package" is open to members and non-members. For a year of unlimited lessons the cost is £300.
