MEMBERS of Crediton and District Swimming Club have had a busy few months, with members taking part in Bag Packing at Crediton Tesco Store in September where they raised £630 which will go towards the annual training session and trip to the Plymouth Life Centre, which gives members the opportunity to swim in a 50 metre pool.

In November members had the annual club championships, where they competed for times and points towards winning trophies.

Then, at Christmas, members went on a social trip for bowling and fun was had by all, who attended.

In the new year was the Club’s Presentation Evening, where the club received a starting system which was kindly donated to the club by Crediton Rotary Club, which was presented by Rotarian Paul Butt.
