YEOFORD Community Primary School has built a new outdoor assault course thanks to a donation from Yeoford Cricket Club.

The “trim trail” features a climbing wall, tyres suspended on chains, monkey bars, stepping platforms and more.

Local carpenter Paul Everall constructed the play equipment during the school holidays, providing a welcome surprise for the children when they went back.

Jackie and Paul Coren of Yeoford Cricket Club officially opened the new play area.

Headteacher Christian Martin said: “Yeoford Primary is extremely grateful to Jackie for getting in touch and to Yeoford Cricket Club for their incredible donation.

“It’s fantastic to have been gifted such a valuable resource that will benefit our students for many years to come.”
