MEMBERS of Cheriton Fitzpaine Garden Club had a wonderfully noisy and messy evening making wreaths under the tuition of Susan Tucker (formally the proprietor of Susan’s Flower Shop in Crediton) and Andrew Dean.
Several of our male members turned up and gamely joined in - having a bar helped a bit too!
Our next meeting will be the AGM to be held on Thursday, December 7 at 7.30pm - again in the Parish Hall.
We shall be losing our Chairman, Paula Mossman, who has done so much to rejuvenate our Club, we hope that Andrew Dean will take up the torch for us.
Members are asked to bring savoury or sweet food, crockery, glasses and cutlery for a shared meal. There will be a bar, so it will be a very sociable occasion.
The first meeting of 2018 will be on Thursday, February 22, when we will have a fiendish quiz, and also enjoy some wicked puddings.
The annual subscription remains at £10 - a real bargain!
