FROM October 2, the Boots store in Crediton will be offering flu vaccinations.

Reported working days lost to flu in the UK every year is in excess of 7.6 million.

The pharmacy section at Boots, Crediton, will be able to offer the vaccination for a cost of £12.99.

Alex Moores, pharmacist at the Crediton store, said that the vaccination protects against three strains of flu, including H1N1 (swine flu).

Alex added that appointments can be made for between 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
