THE Crediton Courier is launching new competition in association with Warwick Photography to make one lucky resident the "Face of Crediton".

The free-to-enter competition is open to all residents of the EX17 postcode area, aged between 16 and 25 years of age, male or female.

The top prize is an amazing make-over from Justine of 'Finishing Touch' (http://www.thatfinishingtouch.co.uk">www.thatfinishingtouch.co.uk) and a professional photo-shoot with Graham at Warwick Photography (http://www.warwickphotography.co.uk">www.warwickphotography.co.uk) to the value of £300.

There are lots of other great prizes up for grabs by the winner, too!

Contestants will also have the opportunity to be invited to join the town's Mayor, Cllr Frank Letch at civil events, openings, visits and appointments.

HOW TO ENTER

The casting calls are on Tuesday, August 14 and Thursday August 16 between 10am and 4pm and also on Wednesday 18 in the evening between 6 and 8pm at the studio of Warwick photography on 4 Lower Pannier Market, Market Street, Crediton.

Entrants will have a photograph taken and will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire about themselves for a short profile. No personal details will be used for marketing, other than in relation to this competition. All data collected will remain secure under the Data Protection Act.

The photographs from the casting will then be displayed on a Facebook page, in the pages of the Crediton Courier and on the Courier website from August 17. Readers can then vote by ticking a box next to the photograph and profile of the person they think should be the "Face of Crediton" on Facebook.

Votes can also be made by obtaining a copy of the Crediton Courier, in which forms should be cut out and returned to the Courier office at 102 High Street, Crediton, EX17 3LF, on or before August 27. No photocopies, please.
