A DELAYED road closure between Crediton and Bickleigh has been rescheduled.

The A3072 will be shut for two days for “investigation works” between the former Blue Cross animal centre and an unnamed road north of Cadbury on Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, February 26.

The diversion will be via the A377 to Cowley then the A396 to Bickleigh and vice versa.

The road had been due to be closed on Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15 but was pushed back due to a burst water main on Exhibition Road in Crediton.

The incident saw thousands of gallons of water spray into the air until the water main could be repaired.
