TWINKLE, glitter and festive sparkle filled St Andrew’s Church at Colebrooke on Saturday, November 23 at the Christmas Craft Fayre.

Lovely greetings cards, wreaths, pottery from Crediton, Ide and Spreyton where the potter even digs his clay locally, bunting, jewellery, paintings, crocheted baby clothes and toys, preserves as well small size Christmas puddings, including some gluten, sugar and dairy free.

The kitchen was kept busy providing hot soup, pulled pork baps, drinks and cakes plus cider and cheese tasting.

A good chance to buy some unusual gifts and decorations in a very convivial atmosphere.

Church Warden Elizabeth Jones said: “On behalf of St Andrew’s PCC, a heartfelt thanks to all those who braved the rain to come to the Craft Fayre. It was amazing to see so many people there. There was such a festive, lively atmosphere, a good start to the Advent season.”

There is to be a concert with the Isca Singers on December 19 at the church, tickets available now from Elizabeth Jones (01363) 84339 or Val Pennington 84918 or any member of the PCC.
