CREDITON Town Council is pleased to announce that it has today, Wednesday, October 1, relocated to Manor Office (6 North Street, just two doors down from its current premises).
The North Street offices were closed from Monday, September 29 to Friday, October 3.
The Town Council said: “This move is primarily driven by the need to ensure that the council continues to serve the community effectively.
“We are excited to be providing Crediton Area History and Museum Society with archiving space, making this building a far more community-minded space, with the view to offering space for hire for meetings in the future.
“While the relocation marks an important step forward, we would like to inform residents that Manor Office will not be fully open to the public immediately upon moving in.
“This is due to ongoing work to ensure the new premises meet accessibility standards and to ensure the safety of our visitors.
“We are actively developing alternative arrangements to ensure that residents can continue to access council staff and services during this transition.
“This will include scheduled appointments with council staff and continued digital and phone support.
“We are also hoping to offer temporary drop-in sessions at alternative locations.
“Further details will be shared in the coming weeks via our website and social media channels.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this important move, and we remain committed to maintaining open and effective communication with our community.
