PANTOMIME season has arrived in Sandford.
This year, they’re “Off to see the wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz” and you are strongly advised to do the same.
“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, the pantomime, by Lester Yeo, will be directed by local drama teacher and Sandford pantomime newcomer Sebastian Gillman Pope.
It will feature a talking dog, more than enough bad jokes and a cast of thousands (well, 30 actually, the majority of whom are local children).
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz promises to be a treat for the entire family…Oh no it doesn’t!...Oh yes it very much does.
It is being staged at Sandford Parish Hall and will run from Thursday, December 8 to Saturday, December 10.
Performances will be at 7.30pm each evening and there will also be a 2pm matinee on the Saturday.
Tickets on the Thursday and Friday are priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children and OAPs and these are available from Sandford Post Office and Community Stores and Susan’s Flower Show in Crediton High Street.
Tickets for the 2pm matinee on the Saturday are all priced at £3 and the 7.30pm Saturday evening ticket price is £6.
