A JUBILEE tea party entitled “Tea at the BRitz”, which was held at the Boniface Centre, was a wonderful tea which was greatly enjoyed.

The event was held as a fundraiser for Crediton Parochial Church Council.

A spokesperson said: “We should all be very grateful and express our enormous thanks to Sue Lavery for suggesting, masterminding and being the driving force behind this happy and special event to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

“Thanks also to everyone who decorated the Boniface Centre, laid tables, prepared food, served the afternoon tea and drinks and undertook the inevitable washing and clearing up. It raised £628.62 for the PCC.”
