CREDITON Town Council is conducting an initial survey to determine if there is sufficient support from business owners on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate to explore the possibility of installing a CCTV system on the estate.

The Town Council is currently in the process of installing a CCTV system in the town centre.

Once this system is up and running, further investigations could take place into whether business owners on the industrial estate would support this project and help to make it viable.

To gather enough funding for an effective system on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate, Crediton Town Council would first need sufficient support from all business owners.

At this stage, Crediton Town Council is not committing to the project, but tentatively investigating.

As part of these initial investigations, it would like to ask business owners on the estate to take part in a short survey, answering the following questions:

1 Do you support the idea of installing a CCTV system on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate?

2 How much would you be willing to contribute to the initial setup cost?

3 How much would you be willing to contribute to the system’s annual maintenance costs?

Please submit your responses by email to Mrs Emma Anderson, Assistant Clerk: [email protected] . Alternatively, you can download a copy of the survey from the website: www.crediton.gov.uk , which can be completed and posted to the Council Offices, 8a North Street, Crediton, EX17 2BT. Please be sure to include your business name and contact details.
