CHERITON Fitzpaine had its first Service in the Methodist Church since lockdown.

All the congregation wore masks or visors and we were spaced out across the church.

Mrs Pamela Murphy from Crediton took the Service, and gave us a very relevant and hopeful message.

Although we could not sing, hymns were played, and Lesley Rogers "signed" for us in BSL.

This gave the words more impact, and some of us tried to follow her.

Our next Service, including Holy Communion, will be tomorrow, September 7, when we shall welcome our new Minister, Rev. Alison Richardson.
