SHARON Arnold, community champion at Crediton Morrisons, recently donated packs of sunflower seeds for people to grow to Crediton Age Concern.

The Morrisons "Seeds of Hope" initiative involves giving away 2.5m sunflower seeds to customers in a bid to spread a little sunshine and cheer.

Jenny Berg, chairman, Age Concern Crediton, said: "We are very grateful to Sharon and Morrisons for these, which our clients will enjoy having a go at growing."
