THE tickets have now been counted, and Devon County Show has officially confirmed an audited attendance of 106,000 visitors for 2026 — an uplift of 5,000 on last year’s record-breaking figure.

This year’s Show coincided with the late May half‑term break, a rare calendar alignment that contributed to an especially strong family turnout.

While children go free on Saturday and therefore cannot be fully audited, the organisers witnessed a noticeably higher number of young visitors enjoying the attractions, activities and livestock displays.

Across all three days, the Show once again demonstrated its enduring appeal as one of the South West’s most beloved rural events. Lisa Moore, Show Manager, said: “What an incredible Show it has been. With beautiful weather on the menu, people flocked to the Devon County Show, coming together to celebrate the Devon countryside and all its diversity.

“My thanks go to everyone who visited, and to the remarkable volunteers who pour their energy into making this event shine so brightly year after year. But we won’t rest on our laurels.

“We will barely pause to draw breath before turning our attention to Devon County Show 2027, which has been confirmed to take place from May 20 to 22.

“We look forward to making it yet another record breaker.”
