YEAR 11 students from Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton celebrated the end of exams at their summer ball on Thursday, June 25, which this year had a special theme.

Scores of youngsters went along to the Rougemont Hotel in Exeter for the event, dressed in formal eveningwear and arriving in a variety of vehicles including sports cars, tractors and even a horse-drawn carriage.

The students enjoyed food from a buffet and played a puzzle-based game based on the BBC television series “The Traitors”.

QE student band Burnt Daylight then played some popular hits, including “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” by Arctic Monkeys and “Valerie” by The Zutons, while students and some staff members danced.
