DEVON and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and information after Kenton Primary School, near Exeter was broken into and extensive damage was caused inside the building.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the break-in at the school which is believed to have taken place some time during the night of Saturday, August 15 and the early morning of Sunday, August 16.

Unknown offenders forced their way into the school premises and caused thousands of pounds of damage.
