CHERITON Fitzpaine Parish Hall committee held their Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 28, which saw many stalls run by village organisations.

Lunches and afternoon refreshments were also served during the event. Members of the village WI did well on their cake and produce stall and kindly donated their £335 takings to the parish hall funds.

The event itself raised more than £1,000. Organisers, Margaret Martin and Brenda Fowler said they were delighted with the result.
