ONE of those who enjoys attending events at The Turning Tides Project is Otis.

In addition, Otis has been a big fan of the Crediton Talking News since 2019.

He has talked many times to Jane Williams, the director of TTTP, about how brilliant it would be to meet Peter, Eric and the other Lions Club members and volunteers that record the Talking News from the Crediton Courier every week.

Jane explained: “We were recently thrilled to welcome The Lions Club of Crediton to the Station Tea Rooms where they presented The Turning Tides Project with a generous cheque - and Otis got his opportunity to meet the people behind the voices of the Crediton Talking News.

“Otis and The Turning Tides Project would like to say a huge thank you to Peter, Eric and the Lions who have recorded the Talking News week in, week out for nine years.

“It must be a lot of work and we would like you to know that it is greatly appreciated by your listeners - thank you.”

Jane added: “If you’d like to hear more from Otis, Eric and Peter - order your copy of the Crediton Talking News (contact Eric on 01363 82878) and listen to The Turning Tides Project’s podcast, where Otis and Tom Burns (TTTP Podcast producer) interview Peter and Eric.”
