The choir is open to men and women of all ages and abilities and there is no audition or a need to read music.
The sessions are held every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9pm in the Scout Hut next to the Parish Hall.
If you are a closet crooner, someone who loves singing in the bath, go and enjoy the thrill of singing with others and creating glorious harmonies.
For an experienced singer looking for something new, you can enjoy the satisfaction and freedom of learning by ear. If you are a complete beginner, even terrified of singing, Claire will enable a safe space to help you to find your voice and to open up to the real joy of singing.
Claire explains: “We will be singing a rich variety of songs from folk to jazz, pop and world music. Singing together is a great way to feel good and is scientifically proven to be great for your mental and physical health.
“Above all singing together is fun and can create a great sense of belonging and community.”
The first session is free to try with all other sessions there is a cost of £6.
