GREAT action at Creedy Fishing Lakes has seen the heaviest fish of the season on the bank and also the largest-ever best catch with nine 20 pounders during one session - a new record!
Postman Phil Jefferies from Copplestone continues a good season with six commons, the best scaling 24lbs 9oz. His other catches weighed 18lbs 15oz, 17lbs 10oz, 15lbs 9oz, 13lbs 7oz and 8lbs.
Crediton angler Mike Izzard had two productive day sessions, Firstly banking seven fish including a pair of 20's best weighing 24lbs 1oz.
On the other occasion Mike banked 14 commons with his heaviest fish of that day scaling 20lbs 8oz - that takes his total number of 20's this season already to 20.
Mike is right on target to smash his 2008 record of 30 20 pounders throughout the season.
