A NEW music festival which took place at Morchard Bishop proved to be a real showcase of local talent.

All those who went along were treated to the very best local bands, choirs and dancers, comedy and more.
Morfest, the Morchard Bishop Festival, took place on Saturday, May 23 at The London Inn Fields.



Organised by the Parish Council and village organisations, it ran from 12 noon to late.
It was a wonderful family day out with a bouncy castle and children’s craft marquee, plenty of refreshment opportunities and craft stalls.


Bands included Better Luck Next Time, Cheaper by Bus, Seraph, The Upper Hand, Burnt Daylight and Aerial Panic.
Other acts included Pennymoor Singers, Copplestone Choir, Dove Dance Academy, The Brown Paper Bag Mummers and Comedy Suits.
