THE Crediton branch of Morrisons has been thanked for its support for Age Concern Crediton, which is helping many elderly people in the community.

Clare Bainbridge, who is a volunteer chef at Age Concern Crediton, explained that each week she cooks meals for 32 elderly people from the ingredients donated by Morrisons of Crediton.

She explained: “Morrisons, courtesy of the Crediton store’s Community Champion, Hazel Evely, has very kindly donated food to us every week since we began cooking and running our Meals on Wheels service.

“I am extremely grateful for the food items which I have been able to cook into meals for those who receive the deliveries.

“I know that the meals are greatly enjoyed, so thanks again Morrisons.”
