STICKERS, in the form of mini-posters and of a racist nature, have been appearing stuck to a variety of street furniture in Crediton.
Crediton Mayor, Cllr Frank Letch, said: “It is sad to say that racist mini-posters have been stuck up around the town.
“If you see one, please take it down.
“We don’t want this sort of abusive action in our town.”
Crediton Police say that the stickers have caused unnecessary distress and are investigating who may have posted the stickers.
Those who have concerns are invited to contact Migrant Community PCSO Mel Smith via email: [email protected] .
