SOUTH West Water is currently dealing with a mains water leak on a road in Crediton.

The water leak has created three large potholes across both sections of the road at Jockey Hill.

SWW staff were directing traffic to avoid the deep potholes this morning, Friday, January 26.

Traffic lights are likely to be put in place but there is also a possibility that the road might have to close.

Investigations are continuing.

Traffic is advised that there could be some delays in the area and there is still the possibility of a road closure to enable works to be completed.
