I FEEL we should give a pat on the back for the local Police's success in alleviating the anti-social behaviour problems around the town centre, particularly in relation to the bus stop and the disused bank area.
I and friends have felt uncomfortable, and at times, intimidated, walking through the day and evening 'partying'. That area has also become something of an unhygienic eyesore.
Since I raised this issue at a Crediton Town Council open meeting a couple of months ago, which was attended by Inspector Arthurs, I have received several updates on progress from the Inspector, the Police presence around the town has increased and the problem noticeably lessened.
Thank you, Inspector Arthurs and your team for listening and for continuing your great work in helping keeping Crediton a credit to Devon.
