THERE was a Beach theme to Hayward’s Primary School Summer Fete which was held on the school field on Friday, June 27.

The Win a Turtle stall saw winners win a lolly and if they were lucky, a miniature plastic turtle.  AQ 5145

Organised by the Friends of Hayward’s School, it included an inflatable course, an ice cream van, barbecue and bar, Balloon Pop, Win a Turtle, Win a Teddy, Play Your Cards Right, Ping Pong Tombola, Spin to Win, Beach Rugby and much more.

Other stalls included Pick A Card, Hoopla, Plant Pot Marbles, a Mediaeval Fruit Machine and Search for a Shark.

There were Didi racing cars and many other fun activities.

The fire engine was a huge attraction and children enjoyed sitting inside and also dressing up as a firefighter.
