THE Friends of Bow School's Christmas Fair took place at the school from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, December 5 - and one person was very busy indeed.

Father Christmas saw dozens of children during the evening in his grotto and everyone who saw him received a gift.

The queue to see him was long at certain times.

Children from Bow School Choir sang at the start of the event and there was a bumper raffle and refreshments.

Children could get creative and make festive decorations or make purchases from many other stalls.

There were photos and Christmas cards, lots of cakes and goodies to eat, the homemade fudge stall being a favourite, plus other seasonal treats.

Many craft stalls by local people also filled the school hall and this included jewellery and hand crafted items.
