SAINT Matthew’s Church at Coldridge hosted its fourth Christmas Tree Festival on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 7 to 10 - and the event was a resounding success.

Representatives from more than 15 village organisations and clubs decorated the trees to provide a wonderful sight for all to see.

The Festival was open from 10am to 4pm each day, during normal church opening hours.

A Carol Service was held in the church during the evening of Friday, December 9, while the trees were lit.

It was very well attended and the lit trees were much admired.

Donations were in aid of St Matthew’s Church funds.

The festival was organised by churchwarden Sue Lawrence.
