THE Turning Tides project, which offers equal access to music, the arts and life, especially for those with “learning disability” or “autism” labels in Devon, recently had a fundraising and awareness stall in the entrance of the Tesco store at Wellparks in Crediton.

Hand-made jams sold very well as well as hats, t-shirts, wrist warmers, bath melts, Christmas decorations and other items.

Tomorrow, Sunday, December 11, beginning at 3pm, The Turning Tides Big Band will present a performance entitled “In the Mood for Christmas”.

It will take place at Crediton Congregational Church and admission is a suggested donation upon entry of £5.

The concert is the debut for The Turning Tides Big Band and will also include Seasonal Recital Pieces by Jane Williams (saxophones) and Peter Adcock (piano).

There will also be Carols around the Piano and this year’s Turning Tides Christmas song and video.

Refreshments and gifts will be available.
