UPDATE: Crediton Police are pleased to report that the missing Crediton lady has been found safe and well.The police thank everyone for their assistance in trying to find her.- - - - - - - - - CREDITON Police today, Friday, July 13, issued an appeal for members of the public to be on the lookout for Carol Wood, a 73-year-old woman, who has been reported missing from Exeter Road, Crediton.

Carol is described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, of slim build with brown/red shoulder-length frizzy hair.

She was wearing a patterned white blouse, light coloured trousers and was carrying a blue handbag.

Carol was taken to the Crediton Tesco store at Wellparks, Crediton, but failed to turn up at the pre-arranged meeting area outside.

“Carol gets confused and might have forgotten where she was”, said a police spokesperson.

Police say they have concerns for Carol’s health and welfare and are actively trying to find her.
