SUSTAINABLE Crediton held its fifth annual Big Green Fair on Saturday, September 27 in the Town Square.

Local environmental groups and projects were out in force, including Devon Wildlife Trust, Exeter Community Energy and the Bow Growing Well Garden.

Sustainable Crediton’s Community Larder Group provided soup lunches, and, together with the Turning Tides Project, homemade cakes and hot drinks.

There was live music from Seraph, the Triffles, Ian Edgar, David Treadaway, Longdogs and Dusk.

Children had fun playing games and doing arts and crafts, and Haywards Primary School showcased its work on sustainability.

Community art organisation Significant Seams and Crediton eco-friendly jewellery business Sassy Upcycling had stalls, and Graham Ley of Graham’s Re-cycle-ables offered refurbished bikes for sale with proceeds going to charity.
