HUNDREDS of people packed out the Town Square to hear Crediton Town Band play and sing along to Christmas carols on Tuesday, December 23.

Volunteers from Crediton and District Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface stewarded the event and handed out song sheets in return for donations.

The band played a mix of carols including Away in a Manger, The First Nowell and Hark! the Herald Angels Sing and songs such as Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
